CAREERS COURSES / COURSE PLANNING

Careers is now a specific area of learning in the BC curriculum from K-12.

For info to help you plan your gr 10-12 courses & grad requirements check out BC's Grad Planner and BC's Dogwood Planner.

3O HOURS UPDATE
A minimum of 30 hours work experience OR career-life explorations is included as a component of your CLC class. Use the Salish CLC Tracking Spreadsheet to log/track your hours.

opportunities

There are a lot of opportunities you can get involved with no matter what grade you are in. Getting involved helps you experience and learn what you like (and don't like!), make connections to people in your communities, and develop your skills. You could be doing Work Experience at Science World, working towards your apprenticeship ticket (tuition paid for!), or taking classes with top-notch scientists!
What to do after graduation? There are many options to continue your education. You don't have to have it all mapped out, but connecting with the Career Centre will keep you in the loop of options, updates, and opportunities to help you along the way!
